That’s the turtle hotline.

 In case you plan on hitting the beach sometime soon, Kemp’s Ridley turtles are still nesting on Texas beaches until around mid-July.  If you see one, take pictures of the turtle and the nest, call the hotline ASAP and follow these instructions.  If you are lucky enough to happen upon a nesting turtle, please take the time to report it.  Then send me the pics!  I’ll be jealous. 

 If you are really lucky and see hatchlings from an earlier nest, I’ll really be jealous and in that case take lots of pictures…
