Google Analytics

Again how I love thee, Google.

I set up Google analytics on my pages, and it seems pretty nifty so far, BUT it took a while for the data to show up.  I thought I had done something wrong, but it just takes a while.

In case anyone out there had that feeling… just give it a while.  The help page says up to 24 hours, but mine took longer.

I am so glad I bought that GOOG!

those people amaze me.  If you haven’t seen this already…  check out a new feature on google maps that you’ll find in a few cities like NY, San Francisco, Vegas…  You’ll see a new button called “street view.”

Here’s my old apt in NYC:

Crazy!

I just can’t stop…

It’s like crack… someone help me!

This is a little disappointing…

Not only am I taking online quizes at 2:30 am on a Friday night (sad).  I am a big nerd according to said online quiz.  I really don’t see it… but oh well.  It must have been that damned periodic table question…

I am nerdier than 91% of all people. Are you a nerd? Click here to find out!

My Herb Project

Actually… these little cuties came this way thanks to Eryn Green of Green Gardens in New Ulm.  I picked these up at our place during the last antique show.  I usually have a brown thumb, but these have been ok for about a month now.  Something seems to be eating the basil though.  I am not entirely sure what to do about that.  Also, the strawberry plant hasn’t made any new strawberries, and I’m not sure how to encourage it to do so.

Linus’ blanket for the new millenium?

I suppose this is more like a security snake than blanket, or maybe closer to a decorative element, but the technology behind it sounds pretty nifty.

I think I may have to have one of these…

At least it might relieve some of the burden from my dogs.

They are calling it “no constraints carpet,” but I am thinking the word “carpet” is lost in translation?

Panasonic demoed a “No-Constraints Carpet” concept recently, and for once we’re glad this thing is still a concept. It’s a carpet/rug that’s shaped like a furry snake in order to mimic the feel of a hot pet. The hot part? That comes from small heating elements buried inside.

Big Brother uses MySpace too!

This is just so disturbing.  As if drinking is the worst thing high school kids are exposed to!
